Coucou is a celebration of aperitif culture and artisanal cocktails. Inspired by the timeless bars and bistros of France, Coucou intersects traditional French fare with Coastal California produce, prepared over a live-fire grill.

The food menu was created by Bouchon-alum, Chef Jacob Wetherington.  Coucou has two locations: Venice and West Hollywood. Both spaces embody convivial elegance, pairing elevated French favorites with ice-cold classic cocktails, California and French wines, and an informed selection of French Aperitif.

  • "Coucou serves a tight menu of updated French bistro classics like hamachi ceviche with coconut milk, fried olives, and shucked oysters to enjoy before steak frites, a behemoth cheesy burger, and mussels marinière studded with soft lentils."

    Eater LA

  • "The ambiance (and great drinks) makes it a buzzy dinner option for when being "out and about" is the night's top priority."

    The Infatuation LA

  • "The ice cream of your childhood dreams is deliciously reinvented at Coucou. The accompaniments add major drama—with diva honors going to the side dish of pourable hard-shell chocolate."

    Forbes

  • "Coucou regularly walks the line between French and Californian cuisine, so when it came to building the restaurant’s burger, chef Jacob Wetherington wanted something that “speaks both languages.”
